Based in Guatemala, Alfonso Villa has an extensive experience in the banking and financial sector in the region. Over the years, Alfonso Villa has taken active role as consultant to various financial institutions participating in strategic, financial, and restructuring processes. Additionally, he has acted as an independent advisor to private entities in various mergers and acquisition transactions.

Throughout his years of experience in the banking sector, Alfonso Villa has been the General Manager in Banco del Quetzal, Banco Agrícola Mercantil and Banco Agromercantil. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Ingenio La Unión.

Alfonso Villa has an MBA from Northrop University in Inglewood, California, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru.
