Based in Guatemala, Luis David has extensive experience in the banking and financial sector in the region. Over the years, Luis David has taken an active role in more than one hundred transactional processes including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring of liabilities, leveraged buyouts, managerial team procurements, strategic alliances and private capital placements throughout Central America, Latin America, Mexico, and the United States.

Over the last 25 years of professional experience, Luis David has participated in various executive positions, contributing to strategic and financial processes in finance, banking and transactions. These positions include acting as Managing Director of local investment group IDC, Director of Invest in Guatemala, an agency created to promote foreign investment in Guatemala, partner for the region in Global M&A Partners, member of the Board of Directors of regional bank Banco de America Central (BAC) and Credomatic of Guatemala.

Luis David holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Institute Giordano Dell’amore in Milan, Italy, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Diploma of Political Science from the University of Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala.
